Yeager wins scratch by four and McCloskey scratches out net victory by one-- Results for Wolf Memorial Fall Classic now posted!

With the opening round of the Wolf Memorial changed to South Toledo, Tom Yeager wasn't happy and can't be blamed for being a bit nervous. The last time the Metro played South Toledo a few years ago, Tom didn't play well AND when finished found out his car was stolen. Any fears were quickly erased as he birdied the first hole in route to a great first round 65. His solid 1-under 71 at The Legacy was more than good enough and he won by 4-shots with a 6-under total of 136. Brian Simmons who opened with a fine 3-under 67, actually was within a shot with 9 to go, but a few back-nine bogies, including on both par-5's stymied his chances and he finished at 140. Brian Gerken continued his solid play this season and finished 3rd @ 141. Low round of the day at The Legacy was posted by Rene Morales with a 4-under 68.
In the net division, Dan McCloskey (opening net 70) started the day 5 shots behind Mark Brezvai (65) and 4 behind Scott Conrad (66). McCloskey used a solid 1-under back nine Sunday to shoot an actual 74 and net 65 to win by a shot over Conrad with a 2 day total of 135. Dave Harloff, worked his way up the leaderboard by shooting the low net round of the day (64) and tied for 3rd with Doug Gust at 139.
