Metro's Frick (Tom Yeager) and Frack (Mike Kennedy) lead the way at Legacy with 2-under 70's and it's Brezvai (again) in net division with a 63--Results now posted--Toledo Am entries due Saturday, August 11th

Tom Yeager and Mike Kennedy play most Metro tournaments together and both have been fine golfers for decades (Mike even longer), but this may be the 1st time they tied for first as both fired 2-under 70's at The Legacy this past Sunday. Yeager shot nines of 36/34 and had 6 birdies, but also a few 3-putts. His bogey on #17 enabled Kennedy to tie him as Mike shot 1-over on the front, but shot a bogey free 3-under 33 on the back nine. Brian Gerken, who always seems to be lurking around the lead, birdied 13 and 14, but saw his chances diminish with a double on 15 as he finished third with an even par 72.
Mark Brezvai attributes his recent stellar play in the net division to a new driver he purchased recently as he has finished 1st, 2nd and 1st again in his last 3 tournaments. He shot nines of 41/43 84 in route to his net 63, which was 3 shots ahead of Mike Kennedy's net 66 and 5 ahead of Joe Fulop and Jay East who both posted net 68's.. Fulop shot 37/40, but was hurt with a double on 17, while East, had 4 birdies, including #'s 17 and 18 in route to his 39/38 77.
