Robert Sheils, who was in the field, predicted correctly Saturday, that Sunday would be a washout, and after delaying for several hours, it became impossible to play Sunday. It worked out well for Scott Bergman who made the turn at 1-over Saturday, but made 4 birdies on the back nine shooting 1-under, finishing with an even par round of 72 in winning the scratch division. His round was good enough for a 1-shot victory over Ian Clement, who made 5 birdies, including the last 2-holes in his round of 39-34-73 good for a solo second place finish. Three players shot 2-over 74's to tie for third, including Jon Brimley who was derailed by a triple on the dangerous 14th hole in his round of 34-40-74, Jeff Godzak who made 4 birdies while shooting 35-39-74, and Mike Kennedy who shot 36-38-74 while making 3 birdies.
In the Net Division, Jim Kennedy birdied the last hole to tie his brother (Mike) as both netted 4-under 68's. Close behind were Brian Piezer and Ben Perrine who finished fast by birdieing 17 and 18, as both netted 3-under 69. Robert Riedel was 5th at net 70.
Payouts were very generous because of the reduction to 1-day as over 60% of the field received some winnings.
