Jeff Kruzel, an Ohio Hall of Fame bowling great, showed that he is also talented on the links as he captured his first TMGA title Sunday at testy Monroe CC, firing 2-under 70. Kruzel carded 6-birdies while shooting 35/35-70, and finished 1 shot ahead of fast charging Brian Simmons, who made five back nine birdies in his round of 38/33 -71. Brian has shot 68, 70, 71 his last 3 rounds in TMGA events. Tom Yeager was third after shooting 39/34-73. Kruzel's 67 led the net division, but Rene Morales will get 1st place prize money as he made 3 birdies and shot an actual 36-40-76 and netted 70. Pat Meyers and Brian Simmons were third with net 71's, while Yeager and Al Szczublewski netted 72's.
