Yeager finds relevancy , fires 3-under 69 to capture TMGA's Sandy Creek tournament, Conrad nets 63 for handicap division win.

Tom Yeager said a few weeks ago he wanted to be relevant again in the TMGA (where he has been a consistent winner and top player for 20 plus years). Well, he proved he has some great golf in the tank as he carded 6 birdies and shot nines of 34-35 for a 3-under 69. Yeager birdied the 18th whereas Nick Perrine, who had 5 birdies and shot 33-38-71, made bogey for a 2-shot swing. Scott Conrad, also birdied 18 and shot 35-36-71 to tie for 2nd in the scratch division. Steve Pace, with an unfortunate double on 18, was 4th after shooting 73. However, his disappointment was quelled by the fact he had the only skin ($210) with his birdie on hole 16.  Conrad made the most of his 8 handicap, as he netted 63 to win the handicap division over Pace by 3 shots. Perrine and Yeager both netted 68, while Greg Graff and Al Szczblewski tied for 5th with net 69's.
