Mitchell Kontak march to Player of Year continues with TMGA stroke play championship victory, Gary Aldrich, Scott Conrad and Mark Kontak share net win-Results posted. 

Mitchell Kontak followed his birdie-filled SP Jermain Match Play Championship, by making 11 birdies this weekend at the rain-soaked Legacy Golf Course. Staff did a great job keeping the course playable and Mitchell shot 68, 68 8 under 136 to record a 3 shot victory over his dad Mark Kontak (71, 68-139) and Corbin Stykemain who fired the low round of the tournament with a 65 to go with his first round of 74. Brian Gerken and Kyle Tracy tied for fourth with 4 under 140's.
Gary Aldrich played solid for 2 days and had one of his best tournaments in awhile, and was able to tie Scott Conrad, who routinely has a knack to best his handicap, and Mark Kontak as all three netted 139. Mitchell was at 140 followed by Gregg Graff, Steve Snyder, Mike Kennedy and Mike McCarthy with net 141's.
