Yeager, Tyson battle to a draw in TMGA Championship, Conrad nips 3 players by a shot for Net title.

Terry Tyson has dominated the TMGA this year as he has already won at Lenawee CC, Eagle Rock, the Great Lakes Spring Am and the S.P. Jermain. Tom Yeager, perhaps the best TMGA player over the last 20 or so years, said he just wanted to be relevant again. Neither seemed disappointed Sunday after their round at Fremont CC. Tyson was the leader after a 2-under 70 Saturday at The Legacy, with Yeager lurking 2 shots behind and Seth Graff 4 behind. Tyson (38) and Graff (34) trailed Yeager (35) by a shot after 9, but Tyson (74) shot even on the back to 1-over for Yeager (72) and Graff (71). Yeager and Tyson finished at 1-over 144 for the 2 days, with Graff a shot behind at 145. Alan Holman rebounded from an 80 on Saturday with the day's low round of 1-under 70 and tied for 4th with Frank Dudek, who also rebounded with a 71, as they totaled 150 for the 2 rounds.

In the net division, Scott Conrad was consistent with actual rounds of 76 each day, and a 134 net total, which was barely good enough to scratch out a 1-stroke victory over Gary Aldrich, Derek Dickerson and Seth Graff. Yeager and Jim O'Neal were next with 138 totals. Conrad added to his fine weekend by also recording the only skin with a birdie on the 1st hole at the Legacy good for $250!!
