Neither rain nor heat deter Tyson and Graff from capturing the Scratch and Net Metro Championship

Metro veteran Terry Tyson, followed his even par 72 at Eagle's Landing on Saturday in miserable playing conditions, with a sizzling 3-under 68 at Detwiler Sunday in hot and humid conditions for a 140 total to capture the 2009 Metro Championship. Tyson was never seriously threatened today as he shot 2-under on the front nine and carded 6 birdies in the round. Defending Metro Champion, Tom Yeager, who shot a sparkling 63 in last years championship, finished second four shots back at 144 after shooting a solid 1 under 70 today. Wily veteran, Mike Kennedy, finished third while also shooting 70 today for a 146 total.
Seth Graff, who finished his round yesterday at Eagle's Landing by making birdie on the last 3 holes to card a net 66 (78) added a net 70 (81) today to win the net division with a 136 total, good enough for a one shot win over Tyson and 5 shots over Kennedy.
